Specialist for chemical modeling and plasma simulation (f/m/d)
Become part of the climate revolution!
The opportunity - Shape your influential role
We develop pioneering models and simulations for chemical reactions and plasma processes in a state-of-the-art working environment. In this position, you will play a key role in the development and optimization of chemical models and contribute to increasing the efficiency and precision of plasma catalysis processes. We are looking for a chemical modeling and plasma simulation specialist with passion and expertise to join our team and take our modeling and simulation approaches to the next level:
- Development and optimization of chemical models: You will develop models with a focus on CO₂, methane and other gases to simulate chemical reactions and make processes more efficient.
- Plasma fluid simulations: You will carry out simulations to better understand and further develop the dynamics of plasma processes.
- Reaction dynamics: By working with global models, you contribute to the optimization of reaction paths and speed.
- Research and implementation: You will develop and refine surface reactions to increase the efficiency of plasma catalysis and open up new possibilities.
Your profile - face challenges and develop yourself further
- Completed studies (Bachelor's, Master's or PhD) in chemical engineering, physics or a related field.
- Experience with reaction processes, especially in connection with CO₂ and CH₄.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Fortran or C++.
- Analytical thinking and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Familiarity with plasma dynamics and surface chemistry.
- Very good communication skills in German and English, both oral and written.
Your benefits - Develop yourself and change the world:
- Steep learning curve in an innovative company.
- The opportunity to actively do something about climate change.
- Flexible working hours and hybrid working options.
- The opportunity to work with a high degree of personal responsibility.
- Access to modern research facilities and comprehensive training opportunities.
