The opportunity - Shape your influential role
In a state-of-the-art laboratory, we realize tailor-made test rigs and laboratory setups for applications in control and regulation technology. In this position, you will be responsible for setting up and commissioning complex test rigs and working closely with our development teams. We are looking for a mechatronics engineer to take our test rigs and processes to the next level:
- Construction of test stands and laboratory setups:
- Creation and adaptation of control programs according to changing requirements.
- Integration and commissioning of control and energy supply systems in test stands.
- Design and piping of process engineering systems (e.g. systems for technical gases, temperature control systems).
- Selection, installation, inspection and maintenance of sensors and actuators for measurement and control technology.
- Construction and wiring of control cabinets for test stands.
- Production of components and assemblies:
- Design of smaller components such as built-in parts of reactors, auxiliary elements and brackets, production of components by machining and joining.
- Development and production of small electronic circuits.

- Completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician or a comparable qualification.
- Sound knowledge in reading and understanding technical plans and in the production of components, assemblies and systems.
- Practical experience in the selection and integration of suitable sensors, actuators, materials and manufacturing processes.
- Skills in programming programmable logic controllers, especially in the area of bus connections and communication protocols.
- Good communication skills and high willingness to acquire new knowledge and skills.
- Out-of-the-box thinking / willingness to develop new, unconventional solutions.

To support our processes, we are looking for a dedicated Technical Organization Lead to manage our team as we transition our innovative technologies from development and testing to market-ready pilot plants and beyond.
- Leadership and team management: You will lead and manage the team and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines. You will provide technical guidance and foster a collaborative, innovative work environment.
- Product and technology readiness: You will oversee the preparation and adaptation of our products and technologies. You will ensure that all technological developments meet customer needs and industry standards.
- Pilot start implementation: You will be responsible for the transition from the R&D phase to pilot implementation. This includes the planning, coordination and monitoring of the pilot plants for our plasma catalysis reactors.
- Process optimization: You will develop and implement processes that streamline the transition from concept to full operations. You will identify technical challenges that may arise during this transition and contribute to their solution.
- Collaboration and communication: You will work closely with the departments of the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless integration and implementation of the projects. You will also ensure efficient communication with all stakeholders.
- Quality and compliance: You ensure that all products and processes meet the necessary quality standards and legal requirements. To do this, you will implement proven procedures in quality management and risk management.

- Excellent project management skills in prioritizing tasks, managing resources and meeting deadlines.

As a controller, you will take on a versatile and influential position in the company. You will work directly with the entire team and support them in:
- Financial management and controlling: Management of all accounting and financial transactions, including invoicing, receivables, payables and general ledger accounting. You will be responsible for preparing budget and financial forecasts and monitoring reporting variances.
- Funding management: Responsible for the accounting of grants and cooperation funds as well as the timely submission of calls for public funds. You ensure that all requirements of the funding bodies are met and document the relevant processes.
- Reporting: Preparation and publication of monthly and annual financial statements. You coordinate the preparation of financial reports and are responsible for ensuring the quality control of financial transactions.
- Development and implementation: Further development and documentation of business processes and internal control systems to maintain and strengthen financial transparency and compliance. You will further develop our accounting processes.
- Collaboration and advice: Close collaboration with management and project managers. You ensure that financial resources are used optimally and that all financial aspects of the projects are in line with the company's objectives.

- Degree in business administration, accounting or a related field, ideally with further training as a controller.
- Several years of professional experience in controlling, particularly in the area of public R&D funding and the financial management of funded projects.
- Sound knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and budget planning.
- Confident handling of common IT applications, in particular MS Office and accounting software.
- Strong analytical skills, a structured and independent way of working as well as high reliability and integrity.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English.
