The opportunity - Shape your influential role
In our state-of-the-art laboratory, you will carry out experiments and syntheses that form the basis for the development of innovative catalysis technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting and documenting experiments, synthesizing new catalysts and ensuring the availability of equipment. In addition, you will ensure compliance with the highest safety standards and actively support the induction of new team members. We are looking for a dedicated lab technician who will take our research to the next level with precise work and passion:
- Carrying out and documenting experiments: You plan and carry out experiments, document the results accurately and comment on them appropriately.
- Catalyst syntheses: You are responsible for the synthesis of new catalysts and the optimization of existing processes.
- Equipment responsibility: You ensure the availability of our laboratory equipment and take responsibility for its maintenance and functionality.
- Ordering: You will take care of the procurement of reagents, gases and standard materials to ensure smooth laboratory operations.
- Safety standards: You pay attention to compliance with internal and external safety regulations and implement them consistently.
- Team support: You support the group leader in the induction of new employees, trainees and interns and contribute to a productive team environment.
Your profile - face challenges and develop yourself further
- Completed vocational training as a CTA, chemical laboratory technician or chemical technician, or comparable training, professional experience desirable
- Practice in carrying out, evaluating and documenting laboratory work using analytical technologies such as GC, MS, etc
- practical experience with titrations, UV-VIS spectroscopy, thermographic methods, elemental analysis, wet chemical and instrumental analysis
- practical experience in the use of relevant IT systems and programs (MS Office, especially Excel and Word)
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Good knowledge of German and English
- Reliability, structured, precise and goal-oriented way of working
